Contract & permits
Deposit, selections and any permit application to the municipality.
Weeks 2–6 - 05
Build
One project lead, a posted schedule and a short update every Friday.

Walkthrough & warranty
Deficiency list closed, documents handed over, warranty begins.

Two-year workmanship warranty — and ask us about rebates.
If something we built fails because of how we built it, we fix it. Planning insulation or air sealing? Ask us about available rebates; we'll point you to current program information and keep your paperwork tidy.
Do I need a building permit?
It depends on the work. Structural changes, new bedrooms, decks, many basement projects and some plumbing work commonly need a permit. Requirements are set by the municipality and do change, so we check the current rules for your property before we quote and include permit preparation in the proposal.
Are your prices before tax?
Yes. All prices on this site are in Canadian dollars before HST. In Nova Scotia HST is 14%, added on your invoice.
Can we live at home during the renovation?
For most single-room projects, yes. We set up dust walls and floor protection and keep a working route through the house. Whole-home projects may need you to move out for part of the job.
What happens if you find a surprise?
We stop, show you photos, explain the options and price the change in writing. Nothing extra is done without your signature.
